SPEED
SPEED is regulated by two things: LAW (in the
posted speed limit) and Common sense (you)
The posted speed limit tells you how fast you
are allowed to drive under ideal conditions.
Rain, fog, sleet, snow, etc are not ideal conditions.
Common sense tells you how fast you should be
driving. If you don't use common sense, then the
LAW will collect several hundred dollars from
you until you start using it.
Example: The posted speed limit is 45 mph. You
are traveling 45 mph. The police officer that
is pulling you over is going to give you a speeding
ticket.
You pull over and through the fog and rain, you
watch as the Officer approaches your car.
Speed limits are not absolute. You must
adjust your speed if conditions require it.
