Traffic Signals
Red
- Stop.Do not go until green.
You may make a right on
a steady Red Light after coming to a full stop.
And you yield the right of way to pedestrians,
and the traffic that has a green light.Unless
posted.
The same is true for a left
turn onto a oneway street.
Flashing Red
- Same as a "Stop Sign"
Red Arrow Do
not go in the direction of the arrow until the
light turns green.
Steady Yellow
- Prepare to stop
the light is turning RED.
Green
- GO but yield
the right of way.(see
Right of way)
Do you know what to do if
a signal is not working?
Stop at intersection as
if there were a stop sign present.
