Is anything more devastating than being involved in a fatal accident that involved a child.. I hope you never have to live the horror, let alone see it. Regardless of the of the rules of the road or right-of-way, the law specifically requires you to exercise great care to avoid striking pedestrians.

Always take care when passing a motorcycle.  They can be affected by the air pressure of passing vehicles.
