You must be able to prove your Date of Birth

Usually this means a State Drivers License, Passport or Birth Certificate.

There are circimstances in which other documents will apply if you do not have one or more of the aforementioned items.

Here are the lists of acceptable documents for proving your name. Select the documents you have until your points equal 1.

U.S. Passport or Passport Card.
U.S. Military Photo ID Card (active, reserve or retired personnel only
Certificate of Natrualization
Certificate of Citizenship
Original copy or certified copy of US or US Territory Birth Certificate
US DOS Consular Report of Birth Abroad
Total accumlated points of ID satisfied If you have 1 of these documents, you may proceed to the Proof of U.S. Citizenship Requirements.

• U.S. CITIZENSHIP
• STATE RESIDENCY OF ISSUING STATE

You must be albe to prove your U.S. Citizenship and your residency of the state issuing the EDL.
